And in that very instant, every Mechanical Unit across the battlefield uploaded its consciousness simultaneously.
Their terrifying efficiency was laid bare. Hundreds of thousands of Machine Intelligence consciousnesses uploaded together, while the bodies left on the battlefield activated their self-destruct sequences at the same time. Even the three great Black Star Hives decisively chose to detonate the moment they withdrew.
Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom-
The entire battlefield was instantly engulfed in raging flames and explosions of energy.
The situation had changed that quickly.
As billowing smoke spread through the force of the self-destruction, everything on the battlefield was reduced to scorched earth. Only the enormous Colossus still stood beneath the sky, completely unaffected.

Within the Colossus Network, the Colossus Brain glanced sideways at the enormous Death Star Hive before her, its core destroyed by her hand.
