Blood Saw looked solemnly at Lynn beside him. "So, have you really made up your mind? Are you sure you want to become a Night Doctor?"
Lynn earnestly clenched a fist against his chest. "If you do a job, you should love it. Besides, didn't you say so yourself, Teacher? Night Doctors may be stubborn and twisted, but they're the most skilled doctors in the Dark World. If I'm going to learn, I should learn from the best!"
Blood Saw looked utterly pained.
That might have been true.
But he genuinely had no fondness whatsoever for that profession.
After all, he was a person of some standing. He really didn't want to carry a bottle of pesticide whenever he went out just to deal with those Night Doctors.
And if his apprentice became as twisted as those guys...
He really didn't want someone constantly at his side, scrutinizing him and trying to find something wrong with him!
"It's not that I don't support your ambition to become a Night Doctor, but..."
Blood Saw looked at him solemnly and said:
"You can't become a Night Doctor just because you want to. Nobody knows where their headquarters are. And even if you're unlucky enough to encounter a traveling Night Doctor..."
"He'll probably have dissected you before you can even ask for a referral!"
Lynn smiled faintly, turned his hand over, and raised his thumb.
"Don't worry, Teacher. I have a special way to find the Night Doctors' headquarters."
Because he had the special class-change quest scroll the system had given him.
Seeing Lynn's confidence...
Blood Saw shook his head.
Forget it.
Since this was the path Lynn had chosen, there was nothing he could do to interfere.
After all, a newborn calf had no fear of tigers.
