By the next day, ice crystals had covered the window frames.
Lynn lay in bed, staring at the ceiling for a long time. The black-haired girl nestled beside him, her eyes closed as she lay on her side with her arms around his chest. Her snow-white skin was as pure and flawless as translucent crystal.
And Lynn knew he had still done something wrong.
