Lynn whipped his head around and gazed toward Wandering Soul Alley, shrouded in layers of black mist.
If there was still a rift at this point in time, where was it now?!
He had already wasted more than half an hour here.
If that rift was still functioning normally, just how many Polluters had it spawned by now?!
With the Chainsaw on his back, Lynn leaped down.
Without wasting a moment, he immediately sprinted toward Wandering Soul Alley as fast as he could.
Where was it?!
If he couldn't find it and let them run rampant, would that adversely affect the development of the entire timeline, too?
"Forget it! I'll head back first!"
Lynn ground his teeth.
This was his greatest disadvantage right now: he lacked any means of detecting those monsters!
And that meant he could easily waste a great deal of time searching for them, making the battle harder by the time he found them.
But at least one thing was certain.
The Polluters appearing at this point in time were coming for him!
If that was the case...
Then things weren't too bad!
Bursting through the black mist, Lynn stepped into Wandering Soul Alley again and sprinted down its dilapidated streets beneath the pitch-black night sky.
Time flew by.
Soon, he was back at the entrance to his Bloodsaw Apothecary.
Nothing!
Gritting his teeth, Lynn abruptly turned and continued sprinting toward the other end of Wandering Soul Alley.
And finally...
After he had sprinted in the other direction for nearly another ten minutes, a piercing cry from the black mist ahead caught his attention.
"Something's happening!"
Lynn burst through the black mist.
At that very moment, his pupils abruptly contracted as he saw the scene unfolding within it.
