A brief silence fell.
Then, the next instant-
A long, piercing howl, as though from some colossal creature, rose from the deepest reaches of the seabed and reverberated through the collapsing waters.
The sound alone sent a second surge of waves crashing outward.
They could dimly make out what was happening.
Where the Firstborn fragment in Clown's chest had pierced it, hundreds of golden rays erupted. Dense golden cracks branched like forks of lightning, spreading across the seabed in every direction.
Clearly, even if that strike had not actually reached its true form, the chain reaction alone was enough to severely injure it.
Because that was Primordial Power, a force capable of overwhelmingly suppressing it!
"It worked!"
Lynn instantly pulled back his rifle and shouted, swiftly dodging the surging waves that blotted out the sky.
And down in the dark depths-
The black flesh covering the seabed churned and writhed in tremendous pain. Like some viscous fluid, it rapidly contracted across vast stretches of the seabed, exposing the mud and weeds that had originally covered it.
If the seawater had not obstructed their vision-
They would have clearly seen the mudlike black flesh covering the seabed for over a thousand kilometers writhing toward the center.
The seawater bulged upward with a rumble, as though some immense creature were pushing it up.
A roar like that of a Deep-Sea Behemoth thundered across the sky.
Rumble-
Reflected in Lynn's pupils, an indescribably massive creature rose from the converging black slime at the very center of the sea. Its twisted giant tentacles thrashed and struck the water, raising waves thousands of meters high. Purple-black, diseased tissue crawled all over its body, and as a vertical eye resembling a star slowly opened, its chilling gaze seemed to illuminate the entire sea.
At last, its
