He changed the subject very quickly.
Lynn turned to gaze out over the dim world. Endless shallows stretched into the distance, with no end in sight, and dampness permeated the entire space.
Looking out, Lynn adjusted his Monocle and asked curiously:
"So, while you were here, did that King's Knight ever tell you anything? What kind of world is this, exactly? And from the looks of it, it seems pretty vast."
Azephala brushed back the long hair over her forehead, the distant landscape reflected in her eyes.
"It is vast, far larger than either of us could imagine. When I was first brought into this world, I explored it too, but I found nothing."
She had once traveled in a single fixed direction, pressing steadily onward.
But even after walking for days and nights,
everything she could see still looked exactly like her surroundings. There was no boundary in sight, no end within reach.
Lynn looked at the Trident he had brought in with him and fell into thought.
Clearly,
if this world really lay inside the Trident, then being able to bring the Trident itself into this world made little sense.
At the very least, this world probably did not exist physically inside the Trident.
Instead, it seemed more like some kind of key.
A medium through which he could enter this space, one that could automatically open a coordinate point leading into this world upon his command, just like his system space.
Lynn raised his head and looked out.
In every direction, above and below, it was boundless.
At that moment, an extraordinarily bold, somewhat unrealistic idea suddenly occurred to Lynn. If this world really was vast enough, just how vast could it be?
Could it be large enough to hold the entire City?
Could it even be
