The wind surged.
Before Lynn could finish speaking, the figure shrouded entirely in a black robe launched its attack.
There were no flashy techniques, no fluctuations in psionics or mental energy. Its opening move was the most primitive, direct physical strike. It was too fast, far faster even than the Mechanical Humanoids of the previous rank. Even Lynn's current reflexes almost failed to keep pace with the machine.
The black robe billowed.
In an instant, the machine appeared before him.
It struck with brutal directness, its terrifying fist hurtling straight toward Lynn's face.
In that split second, Lynn counterattacked as fast as he could. The muscles in his arm erupted with power, blood energy surged, and without retreating an inch, he drove his fist straight into the machine's.
Boom-
An enormous crash rang out.
Even the gears throughout the mechanical factory exploded, rattling thunderously under the tremendous blast of wind.
Agonizing pain struck.
This time, in that clash of pure strength, Lynn was forced back more than a dozen steps. He heard his bones crack distinctly, and his entire arm shook violently.
When he stopped, he was utterly appalled. Boiling blood dripped from his arm.
If not for his astonishing healing ability, that blow would already have rendered his arm useless.
Shocked, he said:

The Black-Robed Figure withdrew its fist. Faint azure lines could be seen shifting beneath its robe.
Sir Awen looked at his shocked expression and said softly:
