Lynn tossed several more nuclear bombs inside to carpet-bomb the area, using the extreme temperatures generated by their blasts to damage and destroy as many of the Mechanical Nanite Swarms as possible within the sealed space.
"Is it working?" Zuo Zuo asked urgently.
The flames inside reflected in Lynn's eyes. He adjusted his Monocle and said:
"The instantaneous temperature inside should reach tens of millions of degrees Celsius. With the sealed environment preventing heat from escaping, that should effectively destroy the Nanite Swarms. But whether it can wipe them all out is hard to say."
The most terrifying thing about machines operating on this microscopic scale was how impossible they were to guard against.

He had no way of knowing whether any Nanite Swarms had taken the opportunity to scatter.
And the most frightening thing was that, given a supply of matter, a Nanite Swarm storm could rapidly manufacture more units in just a few minutes, rebuilding its numbers in next to no time.

"I hope my premonition is wrong. If the Mechanical Church stops focusing on combat power at the macroscopic level and puts all its technology into the microscopic realm, that would be terrifying."

Lynn whipped his head around toward the front, where artillery fire raged without pause.
"Come on! We're heading to the front! We have to tell them about this immediately!"
