It was as though space and time had frozen in that instant.
The Sin Lord watched the scene, her face pale.
The next moment.

Those two fingers tapped his blade.
His vision went black. With that simplest of movements, the blade in his hand, formed from Firstborn Power, instantly burst apart into countless fluttering butterflies.
His body was knocked straight out of the psionic dimensional space.
But in that critical instant.
Lynn practically roared as he instantly activated the Curse Eye on himself, placing a curse of immortality upon himself.
Yet, watching at one ten-thousandth speed, he saw with a shudder that his curse was unraveled by that gentle flick of a finger. His body cracked inch by inch. The barriers formed from flesh, machinery, and psionics seemed to fail completely in that instant, and his body slammed heavily into the wall behind him before sliding down.
And throughout it all, he had not sensed even a trace of power being released or flowing from the man.
"You never explore your own potential. You've always relied on outside power. You never consider what you are, nor have you ever thought about what kind of blood flows through your veins."
That voice echoed in his ears.
His vision darkened.
He wanted to stand, but it was as though he had completely lost control of his body.
Buzz-
He felt his vision go black, and his body suddenly collapsed.
"Lynn!!"
At the very end, all he heard was the Sin Lord's frantic cry. Then he could no longer see anything.
He only felt how weak he was.
As weak as an ant on the ground, as weak as a frog at the bottom of a well, forever confined to that tiny square of sky, lying within his own comfort zone.
