"The upper ranks responsible for maintaining the stellar systems were almost instantly wiped out by the rebels within."
"The major worlds soon came under attack from those Polluters."
"The remaining deities did their best to organize a defense, but in this utterly unequal war, they were soon defeated."
Star Track clutched her head and lowered it, struggling to keep herself from trembling.
"One world after another fell. We were forced to retreat to our own Home Planet and fight to the death, but even that only barely held back their advance for a time..."
"They were endless. They didn't even... didn't even need that Calamity to actually descend..."
It was like a tiger descending upon a flock of sheep.
A low-magic world had encountered an onslaught from a higher dimension.
This was not an equal war at all.
Star Track took a deep breath and clenched her fists.
"The reason they haven't destroyed all life in the Main Universe yet isn't our resistance. It's simply that the Main Universe's immense astronomical scale has limited the pace of their expansion and annihilation. But if this continues, annihilation is only a matter of time."
Everyone's hearts grew unbearably heavy.
But Lynn keenly picked up on one issue.
Lynn's eyes flickered as he said:
"Where did they emerge from? The divine frontier? Those dozens of collapsed node planets?"
Star Track nodded. "At least, judging from our current intelligence, that seems to be the case. The significance of the third Border is unclear. As for the threat from the second Border, it hasn't actually reached the major Star Sectors yet. I don't know whether that's because the Border is still working or because it's too far away, but those unknown creatures from the chaotic frontier haven't broken into the heart of the Main Universe
