He meant the version of himself who had appeared three thousand years ago.
Now he finally understood. He had probably set up that Blood Moon barrier here to preserve the wisp of lingering consciousness and the Demonic Body inside the Castle. That looping barrier had kept enemies outside time from truly invading this place for three thousand years.
For him, the ability to travel through the river of time meant that, after completing his preparations three thousand years ago, he could appear three thousand years later almost immediately to face the Time War that was certain to come.
The Self-Binding Angel gave him an affirmative answer.
"Was the person who appeared just now really you from some point in the future?"
She asked.
Lynn nodded and adjusted his Monocle.
"That should be right. But we're still caught in the middle of it all and can't see the whole picture. The time hasn't come yet."
If that really was him from some point in the future, then as he continued to grow, perhaps he would eventually reach that moment and return once more, closing the loop of this experience.
"That calamity has already noticed this place. We shouldn't stay here long. We'll come back later."
Lynn abruptly raised his head.
His enormous Demon Wings beat as he shot into the sky and hovered high above.
He opened his System Space directly.
"Matriarch, come into my Inner Space first. Leave this place to us."
Lynn spoke gravely.
The Self-Binding Angel nodded. Given her current strength, she knew she could no longer participate in a war like this. Staying outside would only hinder Lynn and the others.
She was about to rush inside, but stopped again. Sorrow clouded her brow as she looked back at the Castle, then up at Lynn.
