Lynn dared not strike again.
He immediately shot backward, putting distance between himself and the head as he retreated into the distant void.
Only when the head was far out of sight did Lynn stop.
He immediately used Mimicry, giving Zuo Zuo her form again.
"Holy shit, Zuo Zuo, don't scare me! What the hell is going on? Are you feeling any better now?"
Looking at the pallor on his Zuo Luo's face, Lynn felt his hair stand on end.
Such a strange situation.
He had never encountered anything like it before.
Zuo Zuo shook her head hard, covering her face, her brow full of worry as she said in a daze:
"Zuo Zuo doesn't know either. Just now, it felt... it felt like that head resonated with me. When you slashed it, Brain, Zuo Zuo felt pain too... terrible pain..."
Still worried, Lynn immediately examined his Zuo Zuo thoroughly.
His brow knitted tightly.
He had not felt the resonance Zuo Zuo described.
It seemed to affect only the Colossus Consciousness.
But what kind of joke was this?!
This was the site of the Battle of Heaven. Zuo Zuo had absolutely nothing to do with this place, so how could this happen?
"Do you still feel that resonance?"
Lynn asked, cupping her face.
Zuo Zuo furrowed her little brows and reached out to cover the pounding heart in Lynn's chest, saying:

Lynn looked grave. "That doesn't seem likely."
