They pressed deeper into the Chaos Corridor, discovering one massive node after another formed by Chaos Engines.
"Those engines are moving!"
As they approached a node deeper in the Chaos Corridor, Clown immediately noticed that one of the Chaos Engines in sight had begun inching farther down the corridor.
At the same time, they felt waves of massive fluctuations and shifts in the chaos power behind them.
Lynn whipped his head around.
He immediately realized that it was not just the engine before them adjusting its position. Every engine throughout the Chaos Corridor was advancing deeper into the corridor at the same time.
"They're speeding up the push forward!"
Clown's breathing quickened.
He immediately understood what was happening.
Every engine in the Chaos Corridor continuously stabilized the path on either side of it. But if they increased the engines' output, their effective range would surely expand as well. That would free up extra Chaos Engines to deploy at the very front, accelerating the work of opening the path.
Such an enormous adjustment undoubtedly meant that, under pressure from the situation, they were likely staking everything on one final gamble!
"If they're still speeding up the work under these circumstances, that can only mean they're probably close to achieving their goal!"
Clown's voice grew urgent as well.
Because if this path really was meant to reach the Broken Divine Realm, the Legion's current strength would be no more than an egg hurled against a rock.
"Let's pick up the pace!"
Lynn narrowed his eyes and pushed his speed to the limit.
As they raced onward.
The boundaries of chaos on either side gradually narrowed, and the chaos power was nowhere near as stable as it had been along the earlier stretch. Without question, they were drawing closer to the very front
