Lynn's eyes flickered. "That Calamity?"
Silver Fantasy nodded, her expression grave.
In other words, when these Chaos Engines were built, they had been infused with some of that Calamity's power.
But how had they managed that?
Given that Calamity's current chaotic state, getting him to willingly help the polluted beings of the Abyss build Megastructures like these was clearly unrealistic. Most of the corrupted deities should still have been in the Broken Divine Realm, too. That raised the question: how had the polluted beings here built so many Chaos Engines?
Silver Fantasy looked at him, and with barely a glance, Lynn immediately understood what she meant.
"You mean there's something else hiding in the Abyss that we haven't discovered?"
Lynn's eyes flickered.
Silver Fantasy's expression was calm as she said:
"It's only a guess."
"I personally led troops through all seven planes. The Archdemons I encountered were merely muscle. They couldn't possibly possess the intelligence or ability to create such sophisticated Megastructures. So I can only guess that whoever made them was either hiding in the Chaos Corridor and inadvertently wiped out by you, or..."
"They might still be here, lying low somewhere we haven't found."
Silence fell around them.
The Weeping Clown instinctively glanced around. The utter silence of the surrounding void made him shudder involuntarily.
"What... do you think it could be?"
The Weeping Clown asked hesitantly.
Silver Fantasy shook her head. "I'm not a god. I can't be omniscient and omnipotent. But power capable of controlling Chaos Beings? I don't believe a group of Archdemons and Polluters could have produced that. Of course, I might simply be worrying over nothing."
Lynn raised his head and said gravely, "Whatever the case, we need to stay on guard. If someone has their eye on these engines, that won't be
