Lynn's gaze was deep as he controlled the spatial laws to stabilize his coordinates, stealthily following the edge of the Chaos Corridor deeper inside.
He kept moving.
He traveled for a long time.
At last, he spotted a Chaos Engine stabilizing the route.
But this one was completely different from the Chaos Engines he had seen back in the Abyss.
"It's... huge! How can it be this big?!"
Zuo Zuo's breathing grew labored, eyes darting anxiously.
An enormous engine resembling a burning star stood in the central region of the Chaos Corridor. Compared to it, the engines Lynn had captured were like ants beside a colossus. It resembled a gigantic heart, endlessly pumping the power of chaos into the Chaos Corridor.
This was probably why they had encountered no other engines along the way.
Its output was immense!
So immense that there was no need to install engines all along the route, as there had been in the Abyss.
"Lynn, look! Are those Polluters too?! A huge army is gathering here!"
Zuo Zuo's voice trembled.
Lynn saw them too.
Beyond the enormous Chaos Engine, gigantic arks resembling floating continents were sailing toward them in an endless stream, carrying densely packed armies. There were more than a dozen arks as vast as continental plates.
At a glance, Lynn could tell that the Polluters aboard those arks were completely different from any he had encountered before.
Every Polluter wore pitch-black, corrupted armor. Their ranks were grim and orderly, like hosts of silent undead, radiating a terrifying stillness and murderous intent. They were nothing like the other noisy, roaring Polluter foot soldiers. Every figure even carried standardized weapons.
Lynn's pupils contracted slightly as he recognized them.
"Those are knights of the Divine Kingdom."
They felt familiar.
He remembered the final elite boss he
