It was as though, just a short while ago,
he had been sitting in the very spot where Lynn now stood, silent.

Sir Awen raised his head within the white light. He dropped the chip in his hand, and as though he knew Lynn would surely find this place, his lips moved. He seemed to want to say something, but in the end, he uttered not a word.
