Inside the fortress, the Self-Binding Angel's expression changed drastically. The communication channel they had agreed on with the Captain and the others seemed to be suffering from interference. Nothing came through but bursts of static.
In that instant, her heart plunged into icy depths.
She immediately relayed the news to Lynn inside the Stellar Fortress.
"Lynn, something may have gone wrong! Communications are being jammed. I can't get in touch with the Captain and the others!"
Lynn looked up the moment he heard the news.
This was precisely what he had feared most.
Had the Captain and the others really been ambushed by the Divine Realm's army?!
He knew all too well that the lackeys of that Calamity could afford to gamble many times, but for them, even a single loss would mean losing everything!
"Where's their current target?!"

"Open a curvature corridor there for me immediately! I'll go!"
Without a moment's hesitation, Lynn narrowed his eyes and vanished from where he stood. He warped out of the Stellar Fortress and appeared in the void.
"Lynn! We'll go with you!"

But Lynn stopped them immediately. If the others really had been unfortunate enough to walk into a Divine Realm ambush, sending more people would accomplish nothing. It would only cost them everything they had left.
