Deep in the sea, the High Tower stood upon the Isolated Island.
Amid the shattered ruins, Lynn sat cross-legged among the broken walls, his expression grave and his eyes tightly shut. The firstborn power flowing through him coated his body in a thin sheen of frost.

But... how could he do it?
Once again, the figure he had seen when he first set foot here surfaced in his mind. Its back had been turned toward him, as though it stood at time's end, across an endless river of time.
He kept recalling what had happened then.
He had accidentally stepped into another branch of time and appeared in a universe that was not his own...
Within the river of time, he had seen one of its branches severed...
It was as though a branch of time surging forward had briefly intersected with his own river of time as it passed through this place...
This was no coincidence.
There had to be something special about this place.
But staking his survival on a conjecture was, in itself, an enormous gamble.
With his eyes tightly shut, Lynn could only transform his firstborn power into laws governing temporal sequences, carefully sensing every temporal anomaly this region displayed.
And he did indeed discover something.
Across the entire reality universe, time should have been the most stable of all phenomena.
Even the fiercest war could scarcely affect the passage of time in the slightest.
But here...
Things were entirely different.
He had experienced abnormal flows of time several times, even the bizarre phenomenon of time flowing out of sync
