He left the end of time.
When he returned to Outside Time once more, he turned for one last look at that distant future, at the endpoint of the River of Time.
And he knew that this farewell was likely forever.
They would never meet again.
In truth, he had already realized that if he could truly make his way from the past back to the moment before the apocalypse descended, this original future would vanish completely, replaced by an entirely new future of his own.
It was his future self who had reenacted the past and won him this chance to start over.
And this time.
He would give everything he had to keep going!

Lynn abruptly opened his eyes on the Isolated Island, returning once again to the moment before he had left.
The sky was vast and clear, and the shattered High Tower had long since been restored.
There was no pattering rain, nor any pitch-black nightmares frozen across the sky. He had returned to the River of Time that belonged to him.
He sprang to his feet, his gaze sharp as lightning.
"Zuo Zuo, don't worry. Once I find the Time Divine Spark, I'll bring you back! I swear it!"
He looked at his left hand.
Then clenched it fiercely into a fist.
He had regained his reason. He knew they were only separated for now.
Once he found the Time Divine Spark, the void beyond time would no longer stand in his way. He would be able to bring her back from that nothingness himself!
Steadying himself, Lynn became calmer than he had ever been.
He checked his bearings.

He tore through the air, heading toward the edge of this region as fast as he could.
Judging from the
