He guessed almost immediately that there must be someone here like a Jailer.
With Laws almost incapable of harming the Polluters, anyone hoping to survive here for long needed someone who wielded chaotic power to hold the fort. Otherwise, it was only a matter of time before they were found.

With a thought, Lynn silently slipped inside without triggering any of the restrictions or alarms set around the entrance.
It was a long passageway carved through a crack in the rock wall, barely wide enough for two people to walk abreast.
Lynn headed downward, traveling over a thousand meters before the space suddenly opened up before him.
It was an enormous underground cavern.
Stalactites hung from the lofty ceiling amid jagged rocks, and at the very center of the cavern lay a modest pool. Droplets fell from the stalactites into the pool, making crisp, clear sounds.
Lynn was astonished.
Clearly, he had never expected such a hidden haven to exist in this shattered world.
"I already told you I'm fine! There's no need to go to all this trouble checking me. Look what I brought back! I found them in a few ruins in the Divine Kingdoms. More than thirty pieces of Crystal Source! If we use them sparingly, they'll last us another few hundred days here!"
