Lynn stood in the center of the village, his brow tightly furrowed.
There had been hundreds of Polluters here, but judging from the scenes in Momo's memories, the Remnants of the Fate God Kingdom should have numbered in the thousands.
"This wasn't the only settlement. Let's go to the next one!"
Lynn's gaze turned icy, and he leaped into the air.
There was no doubt that the Black Knights who had entered this place had begun purging everyone alive here.
He only hoped they still had time. The Feather Pen had gone to such lengths to preserve her people, and he refused to let it all be destroyed here.
They set off immediately.
According to the scenes in Momo's memories, over the past few decades, the Remnants of the Fate God Kingdom had built at least a dozen settlements in the Woodland's vast pocket world, scattered throughout the forest.
Soon.
They reached the next populated area.
But the sight that greeted them was identical to what they had seen in the village. Raging Black Flame and the ever-expanding power of Chaos had turned this settlement, which had almost grown into a sizable town, into a sea of fire.
They clenched their teeth, their hearts growing colder.
Yet they still held on to a sliver of hope.
"The next one!"
Time flew by.
Soon, they found the third and fourth settlements of the Remnants.
But without exception.
Everywhere they looked, raging fires burned.
Shattered bodies. People transformed into Polluters.
