A ragged voice rang out from inside the gate.
Lynn charged straight in, braving the overwhelming aura of destruction.
An immense temple hall appeared before them. Within its vast dome, twisted humanoid spellcasters stood at various points around a massive magic array, continuously feeding their power into the pitch-black crystal at its center. The divine spark radiated a terrifying black halo, more overpowering than any god king spark Lynn had ever seen.
And directly beneath that divine spark...
A giant fashioned entirely from twisted flesh was bound in chains, and the terrifying power spilling from the divine spark seeped endlessly into its body.
The instant the spellcasters saw Lynn and his companion appear, terror spread across their faces.
When they saw the figure beside Lynn, the fear in their eyes grew even stronger.
"Lord Truth... how could... how could it be you..."

The golden figure abruptly opened his eyes, golden light blazing within them. In almost an instant, he killed every spellcaster.
"Destruction's divine spark comes later in the revival sequence than Causality's! Their corruption of [Destruction] is still nowhere near enough to revive him. Destroy this array! Don't let that vessel bear Destruction's divine spark!"
But Lynn needed no reminder.
At almost the same instant, he hurled the Trident in his hand at the enormous magic array, like thunder piercing heaven and earth.

The Trident's tip instantly struck the barrier outside the magic array. Amid an explosive shower of sparks, the barrier shattered.
