Overwhelming hatred nearly drove the Nightmare King out of his mind.
His gaze was crazed.
Being slain by Lynn over a decade ago had already made him hate Lynn to the core. How could he not seethe at such provocation?
Like a maddened beast, he mustered all his strength once more, transforming into an endless swarm of black skeletons that swept toward Lynn with wild howls, blotting out the sky.

It was exactly the same slap as before.
Lynn did not budge, his gaze ice-cold. As though plucking chestnuts from a fire, he effortlessly broke through that terrifying black curtain and slapped the Nightmare King's True Form flying once again.
"Again!"
He walked toward him, step by step.
Like a demonic god.
Behind him.
The other two Nightmare Demons charged madly at him. As members of the Seventy-Two Pillars, their strength already stood at the very pinnacle of this Dream World. Even as mere Projections, when had they ever suffered such humiliation?
But they were not Lynn's targets at all.
The instant they attacked, Lynn raised his hand, caught their attacks, and suppressed them on the spot.
His gaze remained fixed on the Nightmare King across from him.
Almost crazed, the Nightmare King gathered his power again and lunged at Lynn.
Smack-
Another slap, exactly the same as before.
The terrifying powers he displayed were as flimsy as paper before Lynn. Once again, a slap sent him flying, and he crashed heavily onto the same spot as before.
"Again!"
Lynn's gaze grew colder still.
"You've gone too far!"
The Nightmare King roared savagely, launching ferocious attacks at Lynn again and again like a madman.
But the result was always the same.
Every attack was neutralized. Every charge ended with Lynn slapping him away.
