As he spoke,
Lynn hoisted the battered Wanderer onto his shoulder and strode toward the Operating Room next door.
Screws and parts clattered to the floor as he walked, one falling off with every step. Clearly, the Wanderer was barely holding together.

One wrong move could instantly crash the entire machine and trigger a chain of explosions, especially when shutting it down was not an option.
But Lynn was extremely confident in himself.

Lynn took out the tools essential for mechanical modification-a screwdriver, welding equipment, a hammer, a wrench, blasting caps, and so on-and arranged them neatly on the operating table. Then he looked earnestly at the Wanderer, who still had not emerged from his stupor, and said,
"Sir, I'm about to start repairing your body. Are you ready?"
