In all the hundred years since she had become a doll, this was arguably the greatest emotional upheaval she had ever experienced. Even the past several decades combined had not shaken her as much as this moment.
She clenched her fists and glared at him angrily, little rings of steam puffing from her head.

"Miss Doll, roughly how long until you regain control of your body?"
Black String Moon closed her eyes and turned her neck.
"Thirty-five minutes."
Lynn nodded.
"Then get some rest for now. I'll recharge you once we get out of here!"
Then she immediately felt her body rise.
A large hand slipped beneath her waist and the joints of her legs.
Her waist was lifted in an instant.
When she opened her eyes, she immediately discovered that the wretched man was already cradling her in his arms like a little princess.
Lynn waggled his eyebrows at her comically, then sprang up and leaped off the towering Aberration Fortress.
"Hold tight. Leave things to me for now. We need to make a run for it!"
Black String Moon calmly closed her eyes, tacitly allowing him to carry her this way. She no longer had the energy to be angry with him.
