Lynn adjusted his Monocle, his gaze resolute, then carefully took Miss Doll's hand, pushed open the broken doors, and stepped into the darkness of the corridor.
They were not far from the room where Number 002 was kept.
They only needed to follow the corridor to its far end and turn a few corners. Lynn already knew the place like the back of his hand.
Within a few minutes.
The two of them and their "dog" pushed open the doors of the Abnormal Creature Center, walked out, and arrived on the street outside.
They crossed the street in silence.
Soon, they returned to the room they had left not long ago. Pushing open the door, Lynn exhaled and said with a smile:
"All right, we're here. Get some rest too, Miss Doll. I should get some sleep myself. I haven't rested in ages, and I really am getting tired."
Black String Moon nodded and turned to leave, finding nothing strange about it.
Lynn rubbed his temples.
He turned around, ready to close the door and go to bed.
But for some reason, he felt as though he had forgotten something very important that he had been about to do. Judging by the time, he seemed to have only just woken up, and apparently he had visited the Abnormal Creature Center just now. But what had he gone there for again?
Still, he did not give it much thought.
He lay down on the bed, closed his eyes, and prepared to enjoy a good sleep.
