Lynn was utterly dumbfounded.
"T-touch you? Brain, could you offer some evidence? I was sleeping so peacefully. Fine, you suddenly punched me awake, but how could you slander an innocent man out of nowhere?"
Lynn was getting angry!
He reached out and poked her soft cheek, accusing her:
"Don't you know that waking someone up out of the blue is an incredibly immoral thing to do?! Brain!"
But the Colossus Brain still stared at him furiously, gritting her teeth as she lowered her voice:
"Shut up! Zuo Zuo is sound asleep. Who else could have been controlling your left hand?! And you still have the nerve to deny it!"
Lynn stared at her. "Do you have any evidence?"
The Colossus Brain pressed her lips together angrily. "Evidence? Of course I do. You were already poking me just now! Isn't that evidence?!"
Lynn froze.
Then he explained earnestly and solemnly, "Of course that doesn't count. I was having a very steamy dream just now, so I had a perfectly normal reaction, that's all. Are you saying even having a dream is some vile misdeed now? Brain, if that's how you're going to be, you're really going too far!"
His tone grew stern.
He poked her cheek hard again.
The Colossus Brain was stunned.
She had never imagined this fellow could offer such an outrageous excuse with such righteous conviction.
She pursed her lips and shot him an angry look. Knowing she couldn't win an argument with him, but unwilling to wake Zuo Zuo, she could only wrap the blanket tightly around herself and turn away sharply, edging farther into the corner to put some distance between them.
This awful bastard!
She closed her eyes.
She clenched her rock-hard fists and refused to say another word to him.
