Lynn introduced Eve to the other girls and organized a cooking activity to help her settle into the family. Eve remained wary of Colossus Brain, while Brain protested Lynn’s childish game.

• Xiao Xiao, Eve, Miao Miao, and Xiao Yada devoured the courtyard’s mutated livestock and their souls until Lynn stopped them and explained that the ingredients were meant to be prepared as food.
• Lynn introduced Eve as his daughter and told the girls to welcome her into the family.
• Lynn said Colossus Brain and Zuo Zuo each counted as half of Eve’s mother because he had used Colossus cells to create her, and Colossus Brain punched him into a tiny, reassembled form.

With Colossus appearing in the plaza and the Colossus Network connecting its flesh constructs, Lynn offered them a chance to return in Colossus’s name for the coming war.

• Lynn told Alice he could take her home and moved Happy Home into a district of Dark Night City, giving her a place to live despite her curse.
• As Dark Night City prepared to enter the fourth dimension, Lynn remembered Big Tongue and leaped into the City of Sin to find him.
• Lynn crashed onto Big Tongue’s belly, declared him his trusty mount, and dragged him back toward Dark Night City.
• Big Tongue saw Colossus standing in the plaza and froze as the Colossus Network began connecting the flesh constructs gathered there.

The Sin Ancestor joined the Flesh Dominator in the Crimson World, where she discovered that he had gained power from an Administrator and summoned the Mechanical Church as an ally. As several of the Seven Gods arrived, an enormous Mechanical Dragon emerged through the sky, revealing another powerful presence entering the war.

• Brain filled Dark Night City with the Colossus’s consciousnesses so it could briefly assume its complete form and withstand the Flesh Dominator’s Authorities.
• The Sin Ancestor brought her Chosen into the Crimson World and warned the Flesh Dominator that Dark Night City’s assembled Origins would be too strong for them.
• The Flesh Dominator revealed that he had absorbed some of an Administrator’s traits and said he had secured other allies for the war.
• General, Star Embracer, and Extinction entered the Crimson World with the Mechanical Church’s forces, alarming the Sin Ancestor.
• The Flesh Dominator explained that only six of the Seven Gods remained and that at least four had split off.
• The Crimson World shook as an enormous Mechanical Dragon broke through the sky, and the Sin Ancestor recognized it as the God of Ten Thousand Machines.

The Flesh Dominator identified the Mechanical Dragon as the former Dragon Head of the Machine Intelligence Civilization and welcomed the Mechanical Race as allies. Meanwhile, Lynn and Sir Awen reached the storm-bound edge of the Endless Sea Region to search for Cthulhu’s remains, and Lynn recalled how the Sea Spawn had gone into the deep sea to find her god.

• The Flesh Dominator explained that the Mechanical Dragon was the original machine intelligence who had unified his civilization and become the God of Ten Thousand Machines, before splitting into one of seven beings.
• The Flesh Dominator raised tentacles and eyeballs to block the Mechanical Race’s advance, then welcomed the [General] and his forces as allies of the Purification Council.
• Sir Awen told Lynn that the storms marked the limit of Hell that land creatures could explore, while Cthulhu’s remains lay farther out at sea.
• Lynn said he had lost track of the Sea Spawn after she plunged into the ocean, where she defeated several powerful pursuers and continued into the deep sea.

Lynn tried to contact Azephala and invited her to join the coming war against the Flesh Dominator, then returned to Dark Night City as allies and factions prepared for battle. Strange eyes opened across the seabed, while Lynn learned that Miss Dollhouse and the Black Fortress would support the war.

• Lynn used the Evil God's Gaze to find Azephala on Cthulhu's followers list and left her a message about the Flesh Dominator and his promise to recover her brother's soul.

Dark Night City’s leaders weighed the Flesh Dominator’s Authorities and decided that a direct battle would be too dangerous. Lynn revealed a Jailer’s corpse and the recovered Feather Pen as trump cards, leaving the others stunned by the weapons he could bring to the war.

• Sir Awen warned that the Flesh Dominator’s [Curse Deepening] and [Flesh Plunder] could overturn Dark Night City’s numerical advantage.
• Sir Awen proposed avoiding a decisive battle and splitting the enemy across multiple battlefields, while the Colossus Brain cautioned that the Flesh Dominator might refuse to divide his forces.
• Lynn argued that Authorities were not the only decisive weapons and revealed a shattered Jailer’s corpse, whose chaotic aura disrupted matter and Dark Night City’s psionics.
