Ch. 1961Just Like the Real Thing!

Lynn reassured Silver Fantasy that they had grown stronger together, then asked whether she could use Nanomachines to take on her appearance from the Data Network. After she transformed, Lynn tested how realistic her simulated skin felt and was promptly flattened by her fist.

  • Lynn hugged Silver Fantasy and encouraged her by saying they had gotten stronger together.
  • Lynn asked whether Silver Fantasy could use Nanomachines to change her appearance in reality.
  • Silver Fantasy transformed her mechanical body into the silver-haired girl she had been in the Data World.
  • Lynn poked her cheek and chest to test the simulated skin, calling it just like the real thing.
  • Silver Fantasy struck Lynn on the head and flattened him into the ground.

Ch. 1962A Preliminary Trial Against Ether!

Lynn and Silver Fantasy rebuilt the Megastructure designed to simulate Ether’s seal, preparing to test whether it could help defeat him. With Azephala ready to suppress Ether if needed, Lynn began releasing the portion of him held in the Coffin Beyond Time.

  • Lynn asked Silver Fantasy to rebuild the Megastructure, and she agreed to use Extinction’s inherited knowledge and abilities.
  • Lynn supplied Silver Fantasy with materials from his System Space and made more by feeding Flesh Regeneration Potions to Azephala’s Erosion Marks.
  • Silver Fantasy completed and activated the enormous Megastructure, which resonated with the Strange Otherworld.
  • Lynn moved the Megastructure near Cthulhu’s corpse and asked Azephala to suppress Ether if anything went wrong.
  • Lynn took Ether’s portion out of the Coffin Beyond Time and told Silver Fantasy to prepare to activate the Megastructure.

Ch. 1963Let's try again!

Lynn realized the Megastructure’s matrix needed Firstborn Power to suppress Ether, so he prepared a second attempt with Azephala and Silver Fantasy. The chapter ended as Ether emerged again, absorbed the properties of Azephala’s erosion marks, and Lynn poured Firstborn Power into the Megastructure.

  • Lynn released Ether from his Coffin Beyond Time, and Azephala trapped the escaping portions while Silver Fantasy activated the Megastructure’s matrix.
  • The matrix beam failed to hold Ether, who broke free and attacked the Megastructure before Azephala forced him back into Lynn’s Coffin.
  • Lynn studied Silver Fantasy’s data and concluded that the Megastructure needed his Firstborn Power to function properly.
  • Lynn, Azephala, and Silver Fantasy prepared to try again, but Ether emerged and dissolved into the erosion marks, acquiring their properties.
  • Lynn ordered Silver Fantasy to activate the Megastructure and flooded it with Firstborn Power.

Ch. 1964It Was the Great Lord Who Suppressed Him!

Lynn used his Firstborn Power to activate the matrix and suppress Ether, confirming that the Violet Great Lord may have sealed Ether with the same power in the past. He then organized preparations to build more Megastructures and escape the Strange Otherworld to resume the war against Ether.

  • Lynn's Firstborn Power activated the matrix, which absorbed Ether and imprisoned him as a silver sphere.
  • Azephala and Silver Fantasy watched Ether's suppression, and Lynn concluded that his former incarnation, the Violet Great Lord, had likely used the matrix and Primordial Power to seal him before.
  • Silver Fantasy worried that the simulated matrix might not hold Ether after he had devoured many origins, so Lynn ordered her to build more and divide the task among several devices.
  • Lynn asked Azephala to mobilize Cthulhu's power and prepare a passage to the physical world so he could contact Dark Night City.
  • Lynn put the Night Doctors to work gathering materials and manufacturing components, including dismantling the Portal for scrap.

Ch. 1965World-breaking and mass production!

Lynn and his companions mass-produced five Mechanical Megastructures before exhausting the Strange Otherworld’s usable matter. They then prepared to break through the world’s spatial structure, hoping to find a way to contact Dark Night City.

  • Lynn used his flesh proliferation potion to create a Flesh Farm, allowing Silver Fantasy’s factory to build Mechanical Megastructures until their matter ran out at five.
  • Lynn, Azephala, and Silver Fantasy decided to attempt breaking through the spatial structure rather than open a passage to reality and alert Ether.
  • Azephala objected to Lynn standing naked, but Lynn dismissed her concern and urged them to begin.
  • Lynn unleashed his primordial power to empower Azephala and Silver Fantasy as they began their attempt.

Ch. 1966Boundary Gate!

Lynn, Azephala, and Silver Fantasy broke open a rift from the Strange Otherworld into the spatial currents, and Lynn risked using his Boundary Gate ability to connect them to Dark Night City. With the two Origins pouring power into the gate, Lynn established the connection’s coordinates, but they still needed to stabilize it and create a passage.

  • Azephala and Silver Fantasy combined their power with Lynn’s enhancement to tear open a rift, and Lynn wedged the Coffin Beyond Time into it before it closed.
  • Lynn explained that Ether could sense his location and proposed opening a Boundary Gate through the spatial currents to reach Dark Night City.
  • Lynn entered the spatial currents while Silver Fantasy shielded him and Azephala held him in place with her tentacles.
  • Lynn activated Gate, and Azephala and Silver Fantasy fed power into the singularity as its signal vanished and reappeared in the storm.
  • Lynn sensed that the signal had established the destination coordinates, but the group still needed to stabilize the connection and form a passage.

Ch. 1967The final moment!

Lynn and his allies opened a Boundary Gate to Dark Night City while the Origins there prepared to reinforce them. Ether found them just as the gate neared completion, and Silver Fantasy transformed into a vast mechanical dragon to confront him.

  • Lynn ordered Azephala and Silver Fantasy to increase their energy output, and a passage began forming through the spatial turbulence.
  • Sir Awen gathered the Origins in Dark Night City, including the Self-Binding Angel, Dollhouse, the captain, and the enormous childlike Origin, to prepare to cross the gate.
  • Lynn sensed support from the other side of the passage and urged his allies to keep widening it before Ether could arrive.
  • Lynn dodged Ether's tentacles as Ether emerged through the spatial turbulence and revealed that he had been searching for them.
  • Silver Fantasy rushed ahead of Azephala, invoked her father's permission, and transformed into an enormous mechanical dragon.

Ch. 1968Sir Awen!

Lynn and Azephala struggled to open a Boundary Gate to Dark Night City while Silver Fantasy used her power to hold Ether back. Sir Awen crossed the unstable passage and appeared before Lynn just as Ether’s attack struck.

  • Silver Fantasy briefly became the God of Ten Thousand Machines and attacked Ether while Lynn poured his power into opening the Boundary Gate.
  • Lynn called for Azephala to use all her godly power, and she linked herself to Cthulhu’s corpse to widen the passage to Dark Night City.
  • Sir Awen heard Lynn’s call, descended to Monarch, and leaped through the unstable Boundary Gate.
  • Ether shattered much of Silver Fantasy’s Mechanical Dragon form, wounded Azephala, and interfered with Lynn’s gate, but Lynn countered him with firstborn power.
  • Ether formed a colossal body and struck at Lynn, but Sir Awen appeared in the passage and stood before him as the attack landed.

Ch. 1969The army of Dark Night City!

Lynn reopened the Boundary Gate with the help of Silver Fantasy and the Night Doctors, summoning Dark Night City to confront Ether. The city’s forces began arriving as the gate stabilized, while the Self-Binding Angel emerged in blazing golden light.

  • Sir Awen rescued Lynn from Ether’s attack, then took Ether into a higher-dimensional space to hold him off.
  • Lynn and Silver Fantasy reopened the Boundary Gate in real space, and Lynn called for Azephala’s help.
  • Azephala and the Night Doctors poured their power into Lynn, helping him establish a passage to Dark Night City.
  • Lynn expanded the passage into a gate, and an enormous rotting ship emerged from it.
  • The flaming skeleton at the ship’s Helm stabilized the Boundary Gate, and the Self-Binding Angel rushed out with twelve golden wings.

Ch. 1970We are not cowards!

Dark Night City’s forces crossed the Boundary Gate and joined Lynn as Ether arrived with a Mechanical Legion, beginning the final battle. Lynn ordered the Night Doctors to retreat, but they refused and marched into the fight beside the Three Great Origins.

  • Dollhouse brought Dark Night City’s Castle and countless Dolls through the Boundary Gate, and Black String Moon reunited with Lynn.
  • Sir Awen escaped the higher-dimensional space with Lynn’s help and warned that Ether was coming.
  • Ether emerged from the shattered space, consumed soul fragments he had taken from Sir Awen, and advanced with an army of atomic machines.
  • The Self-Binding Angel, Dollhouse, and Captain Constantine attacked Ether, starting the decisive battle.
  • Lynn ordered the Night Doctors to retreat, but they donned their masks, formed their legions, and advanced to support the Matriarch.

Ch. 1971Ascension to godhood!

Lynn empowered Sir Awen, the Matriarch, Dollhouse, and the Twelve Wings Archangel to regain their Ancient God forms and fight Ether’s forces. Ether was torn apart and burned to ash, but the Self-Binding Angel questioned whether the battle was truly over.

  • Sir Awen urged Lynn to let Dark Night City’s warriors fight for themselves, then charged into Ether’s Mechanical Legion.
  • Lynn accepted their choice, drank the rusty spring water, and used the Trident to channel firstborn power into his allies.
  • The Matriarch, Dollhouse, and the Twelve Wings Archangel regained their Ancient God forms, while Ether realized their power came from Hell’s prisoners.
  • The Twelve Wings Archangel split Ether’s body with a sword strike, Sir Awen smashed him into fragments, and the Archangel burned the fragments and Ether’s forces.
  • The Self-Binding Angel asked if that was all, and Lynn and Sir Awen remained focused as the battle’s end remained uncertain.

Ch. 1972I'll take my time playing with you!

Ether survived Lynn’s attack and unleashed an Atomic Revolution storm, trapping the Origins in an endless swarm of explosive machines. As Ether withdrew to consume more matter and life, the Self-Binding Angel began a devastating holy spell to counter the storm.

  • Lynn blocked a sudden attack from Ether’s silver blades as Atomic Machinery killed and dismantled several Night Doctors.
  • Sir Awen unleashed a psionic explosion, but Ether revealed he had survived and taunted the Origins before promising to return after their Ascension.
  • Ether’s Atomic Revolution storm disintegrated the ground and formed countless Mechanical Humanoids from the rising particles.
  • Sir Awen, the Self-Binding Angel, the Dollhouse, and the Captain fought the rapidly multiplying machines, which exploded when destroyed and quickly reformed.
  • The Self-Binding Angel flew into the sky and invoked Divine Descent: Ashen Annihilation, unleashing golden flames across the battlefield.

Ch. 1973Waiting for Your Ascension to End!

Lynn and the Origins of Dark Night City annihilated Ether’s mechanical army with the Self-Binding Angel’s forbidden magic, but Ether’s atomic machines began rebuilding. After discovering Ether had consumed the surrounding region and escaped through a spatial rift, Lynn realized Ether could track their movements and ordered everyone back to Dark Night City.

  • The Self-Binding Angel’s forbidden magic destroyed the atomic machines across a vast area, but the machines began reforming from the ashes.
  • Lynn said they had to find Ether’s true form and core, then used a Boundary Gate to take the Origins of Dark Night City to the former Mechanical Church base.
  • Lynn used Remnants of the Past to see Ether’s true form consume the surrounding matter and disappear into a spatial rift half a day earlier.
  • Lynn concluded that Ether could teleport anywhere in Hell and track their movements through his atomic machines, so he ordered everyone back to Dark Night City.

Ch. 1974Ether War (Part One)

Lynn realized Ether would target Dark Night City while he was away and returned through the Boundary Gate. Ether had reached the underground Sanctuary and was taking the Mother Tree of Desire when Lynn arrived and the Matriarch struck at him.

  • Lynn deduced that Ether had anticipated his return and opened a Boundary Gate to Dark Night City.
  • Ether entered Dark Night City, killed and assimilated the guards, and descended into the underground Sanctuary.
  • Ether found the Mother Tree of Desire, shattered its Barriers, and began wrapping it in mercury-like fluid.
  • Lynn returned through the Boundary Gate after the citywide alarm sounded and called for the Matriarch.
  • The Matriarch surged into the sky and split Dark Night City's Sanctuary with a golden sword strike aimed at Ether.

Ch. 1975Ether war (II)

Lynn and the Origins cornered Ether in Dark Night City, where Lynn realized Ether's attempt to escape had failed because the Mother Tree of Desire's curse was restricting him. The chapter ended with Lynn ordering the Clown to unleash its Authority against Ether as the curse spread across the city.

  • Ether escaped the colossal sword by dissolving into fluid, but the Mother Tree of Desire's curse dragged him back from the Spatial Rift.
  • The Twelve Wings Archangel and Lynn's Dollhouse attacked Ether, who escaped their restraints and re-formed as the Origins surrounded him.
  • Ether taunted Lynn by revealing he had used Lynn's family and the Mother Tree of Desire against him.
  • Lynn summoned the Clown and deduced that devouring cursed Origins had temporarily subjected Ether to Hell's restrictions.
  • Ether transformed into a storm of atomic machines, and Lynn ordered the Clown to unleash its Authority, causing the curse to affect Dark Night City's inhabitants and strain the Origins.

Ch. 1976Ether War (III)

Lynn activated Dark Night City’s defenses and used the Mother Tree of Desire to attack Ether, but Ether revealed that his atomic machinery had spread throughout the surrounding land. Lynn and Silver Fantasy prepared to search for Ether’s true form through the Strange Otherworld.

  • Lynn activated Dark Night City’s barriers and confronted Ether over the loss of his family.
  • Lynn seized control of the Mother Tree of Desire and used her branches to rip Ether from his body and slam him into the ground.
  • Ether severed his connection to the Mother Tree, escaped as Nanomachines, and claimed that he was spread across the world.
  • Lynn enlisted Silver Fantasy to help find Ether’s true form, then opened a Light Gate with the Trident while Silver Fantasy sent activation commands into the Strange Otherworld.

Ch. 1977Ether War (IV)

Lynn used the five Mechanical Megastructures to draw Ether out of Dark Night City and asked Silver Fantasy to locate Ether’s true core. With the core found a million li to the west, Lynn and the Origins prepared to launch their final battle together.

  • Lynn activated the five Mechanical Megastructures and dragged Ether and the Ether fluid out of Dark Night City into his Light Gate.
  • Lynn asked Silver Fantasy to trace the Atomic Machinery’s link to Ether’s core, and she located it a million li to the west.
  • Ether’s core severed its connections to the Atomic Machinery as Lynn closed the Light Gate after suppressing the Ether in the city.
  • Lynn opened a Boundary Gate and apologized to the Matriarch, Big Brother Awen, Captain, Lady Doll, and Clown for letting Ether grow stronger.
  • The Origins joined their power to form the Boundary Gate and set out for the west to face Ether’s core.

Ch. 1978The hunt!

Lynn and his allies used their powers and the Mechanical Megastructures to consume Ether’s Atomic Machinery and locate his moving core. They pursued him through the Sea of the Mind and ended the chapter closing in on him at a Spatial Rift.

  • Lynn and Silver Fantasy activated the five Mechanical Megastructures as Ether’s Atomic Machinery attacked them.
  • Sir Awen unleashed the Psionics Tide while the Matriarch struck the silver wave with her golden sword, clearing the way for Lynn’s plan.
  • Lynn used the Matrix Structure to swallow and seal away the Atomic Machinery through the Light Gate.
  • Silver Fantasy detected Ether’s core moving north, and Captain Constantine took the ship through the Sea of the Mind to pursue it.
  • Lynn and his allies caught sight of Ether by a Spatial Rift, and Lynn shouted his name.

Ch. 1979A call after seven thousand years of lost contact!

Lynn’s group pursued Ether through a spatial passage to Hell’s western border, where Clown sensed something outside striking the world. In the Main Universe, a silver aggregate drawn by a call after seven thousand years approached the boundary, poised to strike.

  • Lynn used Curse authority to pull the Witch God Head and Eve from Ether, and Sir Awen caught them.
  • Lynn reopened the Boundary Gate, and the group pursued Ether through the collapsing spatial passage despite the danger to Lynn’s soul.
  • The group emerged at Hell’s western border, where tremors shook the region and Clown sensed something outside striking the world.
  • In the Main Universe, a silver aggregate drawn by a lost connection approached the chaotic colors and moved to strike.

Ch. 1980The colossal entity battering Hell!

Lynn revealed that the colossal force battering Hell was likely Ether’s true form, an ancient Outsider far more powerful than the fragment they had been fighting. Suspecting that Ether had been led to believe Hell was vulnerable, Lynn ordered everyone to find and subdue him while the assault continued.

  • Clown recognized that the assault on Hell exceeded anything he could imagine, while Lynn identified it as Ether’s true form and explained Ether’s origins and power.
  • Lynn explained that the Ether in Hell was only a fragment, while his true form had remained in the Main Universe for seven thousand years.
  • Clown demanded to know why the Jailers were not responding to the destruction, and Lynn began to suspect that their inaction had a deeper purpose.
  • Lynn wondered whether Ether had attacked because he or Painter had made Hell seem weak, and ordered everyone to find and subdue Ether.
