Just then, a mocking, affected voice sounded behind him:
"Sorry to interrupt~"
"Would you come over and put these shackles on yourself~?"
"The wanted man with a bounty of 58 million, 'Cyclone' North Nigel~"
Hearing the voice behind him, Nigel gently rested his hand on his sword hilt.
A vicious gleam flashed through his eyes.
He drew his sword and slashed behind him.
A whirlwind-shaped blade of air spun straight toward Borsalino.
The sharp air blade passed through his body.
It sliced Borsalino into several pieces, which scattered across the ground.
A troubled voice rang out:
"How scary~"
"I got sliced to pieces in an instant~"
"What a bother~"
Then Borsalino's body turned into motes of light and reassembled.
He extended his index finger toward Nigel.
Golden light gathered and swirled in the shape of a cross:
"Well then~"
"Would you surrender without a fight~?"
"Mr. Wanted Criminal~"
Nigel's expression darkened as he watched Borsalino reassemble. Damn it, a Logia...
He channeled his power through both hands gripping his sword.
Sharp blades of air spun visibly around the blade.
Taking a deep breath, he swung forward with all his strength:
"Scythe: Dance of the Storm!!!"
A tornado nearly a hundred meters tall swept through the surroundings as it hurtled toward Borsalino.
Its sharp air blades shredded everything caught inside.
At the same time, Nigel shot backward, rushing toward the pirate ship:
"Drop the supplies!"
"Everyone, retreat!"
The spinning tornado grew as it surged forward.
Borsalino glanced up at its height:
"How dangerous~"
"What if someone gets hurt~?"
He lifted his fingertip slightly, firing the golden laser into the center of the tornado.
