After seven days of testing the waters...
This book finally went behind the paywall! January would like to thank every reader who enjoyed and supported this book.
You were the ones who gave January the motivation to keep writing better work.
Every comment you left, every recommendation vote, monthly vote, tip, and so on...
Made one thing January's most eagerly awaited daily activity.
Reading all your comments and seeing your support.
January would keep every one of you firmly in mind and never forget you.
Without you, January might have lost all motivation long ago.
Although I kept telling myself to persevere.
No matter how you looked at it, nobody liked writing all alone with only themselves as their audience.
At the same time, thank you to my wonderful Ice Cube. Thank you for signing this book and patiently answering whenever I didn't understand something.
Ice Cube gave me a chance to step into the world of writers.
Wholehearted support!
Ice Cube was very gentle, so everyone, go give him more work~

Back to this book.
This could count as January's first book, I suppose. After all, the last time I wrote a book was on Tomato several years ago.
I didn't even know how to get a contract...
Ever since I discovered QQ Reading at the beginning of the year...
Douluo fanfiction flooded into my field of vision, and there was no stopping it.
January was already very fond of the Douluo Continent setting.
Especially quite a few of its supporting characters.
They were good-looking and had very distinctive personalities.
Whether male or female.
Eldest Senior Sister, Xu Xiaoyan, Xie Xie, Ji Juechen, and so on...
I admired Third Young Master.
Ahem...
So, being fairly familiar with Douluo, I decided to write fanfiction.
Partly to build up some popularity, and partly to let the characters I wrote form bonds or feelings with the original characters I liked.
Even to write out some endings or events that were always on my mind.
What a delight, what a delight~
Later on, January wanted to write a few more fanfics, perhaps continuing with Douluo I, or doing Douluo II, Douluo Dalu III: The Legend of the Dragon King, or Douluo IV. Then I might also try another setting I was quite fond of: Pokémon.
(January knew a little about Pokémon too, with eight or nine years of accumulated knowledge since I started watching in third grade~)
Then January planned to try scaling that towering mountain: original fiction on Qidian.
After all, I had a very clear idea of where I stood.
A complete rookie author.
My prose was only average too.
These fanfics were the best practice.
January was still a student and only had a little time to write after coming home from school each day, but starting in October, I would also work hard to maintain a pace of 4,000 characters a day.
After all, if my typing wasn't fast enough, voice input could solve a lot of problems ^_^
Although the results during the trial run weren't very good, dropping from 400 on the first day to 300, 200, and then 100.
My ranking also swung up and down, reaching 159 on the category chart at its highest and failing to make the chart at its lowest.
But every little bit traced this book's growth, a chapter written together by you and January.
This book wouldn't miss updates, and I would keep writing until it was finished.
Whether the stats were good or bad, the ratings high or low, or anyone flamed me.
As long as even one of you kept supporting me, January wouldn't give up.
Please, everyone, don't leave the chapters to pile up. Keep supporting the book!
January was an author you could help nurture, and I would listen to many of your suggestions.
Even with criticism or outright flaming, I would take the attitude of thinking it over first.
I would carefully consider where I had gone wrong and where there were holes.
And make revisions.
If there weren't any, I would explain things clearly too.
January believed the writing would get better and better~
