Life in the Far North

The Ice Empress lives in an underground lair guarded by the Ice Jade Scorpion clan. When Lin Xiao finds her, she is resting on an Ice Crystal Bed and has little confidence in surviving her next heavenly tribulation. Her longstanding bond with the Snow Empress makes her an important intermediary for anyone seeking the latter's support 9 10.

She and the Snow Empress previously relied on the Far North's terrain and climate to oppose Di Tian together. That confrontation did not involve his Dragon God Claw, a limitation the Snow Empress recognizes after their later rematch 49.

Alliance with Lin Xiao

Lin Xiao and Xuan Zi tunnel into her chamber and wake her with stinky tofu and durian. Furious at the intrusion, she attacks, then forcibly withdraws her technique upon recognizing Lin Xiao's Child of Nature aura. The interruption injures her through backlash. His offer to help both Empresses survive their tribulations persuades her to bring him to the Snow Empress 10.
