The next day.
A shrill alarm rang out inside the Luan Bird.
Gao Yang and Zhao Zijie opened their eyes almost simultaneously and looked at the Holographic Image beside their bunks.
"Holy shit! What's going on?!"
Footage from the camera beneath the Starship appeared before them.
Gao Yang froze for a moment at the rather strange sight.
Once he realized what he was seeing, his expression changed drastically, and he cried out.
"Holy shit!! We're flooded?!!"
"One, what's going on?!" Zhao Zijie asked immediately. "Was there an error in your calculations?"
One's mechanical electronic voice immediately sounded. "Due to various complex factors, the ocean tides have far exceeded expectations."
"Complex factors? What factors?" Gao Yang asked reflexively.
The Holographic Image changed again.
This time, it showed footage from the camera on top of the Starship.
A towering wave surged toward the camera and slammed into the Luan Bird's hard hull.
"A storm?" Zhao Zijie murmured.
"Yes." As One spoke, a series of complex data appeared in the Holographic Image before them.
"Under the influence of Saturn's gravity and temperature differences, a relatively powerful hurricane has formed on Titan's surface."
"The methane ocean has a low density and is easily affected by hurricanes, resulting in a substantial error in the calculations."
"Hiss..." Zhao Zijie sucked in a sharp breath. "Skip all that. Just tell us how high the water's going to rise."
"Recalculating data..."
A simulation appeared before them.
"Fuck..." Gao Yang swallowed hard as he stared at the simulation. "This fucking thing is going to submerge half the Luan Bird!"
"One, assess the impact of this incident." Now dressed, Zhao Zijie strode toward the cockpit with a grim expression.
The holographic interface floated through the air alongside him.
"Captain, the assessment is complete."
Zhao Zijie turned his head and glanced
