An encrypted tachyon broadcast went out from the [Earth], traveling toward an unremarkable shuttlecraft a hundred light-years away.

Jiang Qun gazed at the dense nebula outside the porthole, his face filled with a complicated mixture of excitement and apprehension.
He took a deep breath, trying to calm the heart pounding in his chest.
But...
It did not seem to help much.
After his fortunate return from the battlefield, his military rank and contribution points had risen enormously.
Thanks to that, he had stood out among countless candidates and secured an opportunity destined to go down in history-a chance to test-pilot the [Flood Dragon] five-dimensional shuttlecraft!
Before this test flight, the Academy of Sciences had already conducted dozens of five-dimensional navigation experiments.
Although every experiment had succeeded, that did not mean this test flight was free of danger.
According to the flight plan, the shuttlecraft would ascend into five dimensions, leave their Native Universe Bubble under the propulsion of its Five Dimensions Engine, and test some of the latest Five Dimensions Weapons developed by the Academy of Sciences.

No one could yet give a definite answer as to what they would encounter after leaving the universe bubble.

A clear voice came through the speakers, reaching Jiang Qun's ears.

After a brief wait, a familiar voice came through.
