Naruto blinked.
"Genya? What are you doing here?"
Genya lifted the bundle in his hand.
"Dropping something off."
He walked inside and set the bundle on the table.
"I was sorting through the Fourth Hokage's belongings earlier. These were left for you."
Naruto froze.
"The Fourth Hokage... my father..."
Genya nodded.
"Minato and Kushina's things. Clothes, photos, and a few personal belongings. You should have gotten them a long time ago, but..."
He didn't finish.
But Naruto knew.
Because of his status as a "Jinchūriki," these things that should have belonged to him had been withheld all this time.
Genya opened the bundle.
Right on top was a picture frame.
Inside it was a photograph of a young couple.
The man had blond hair, blue eyes, and a gentle smile. He wore a white Hokage Robe.
The woman had long red hair and a radiant smile, her eyes full of love.
Naruto stared at the photograph, his entire body going rigid.
His hand trembled as he reached out and gently stroked the frame.
"This is... my father... my mother..."
His voice shook.
Sakura covered her mouth, her eyes reddening.
Sasuke turned his head away, refusing to look.
Genya said nothing. He simply watched in silence.
Naruto held the photograph and stared at it for a long, long time.
Then, at last, his tears fell.
One drop, then another, landing on the glass.
"Dad... Mom..."
He cried, yet he was smiling.
"So... this is what you looked like..."
"So... I'm not alone..."
He hugged the photograph, crouched on the floor, and sobbed like a child.
The room was quiet.
Only Naruto's muffled sobs broke the silence.
Sakura finally couldn't hold back, and her tears fell too.
She walked over and gently patted Naruto's shoulder.
