On the day of Naruto's wedding, Konoha had been bustling since early morning.

Over at the Uchiha Clan Compound, Genya had gotten up unusually early.

In truth, he had barely slept at all.

He stood at the entrance to his new home in a dark kimono. The dark circles under his eyes were still there, but he was in decent spirits.

Sasuke leaned against the doorframe, already dressed and ready, watching expressionlessly as clansmen came and went, helping carry things.

"You're certainly eager."

Genya glanced at him.

"Sakura kept pushing me."

Sasuke's reply was flat.

Genya smiled and said nothing more.

Naruto's bridal chamber was still in his old house.

Minato and Kushina had bought another house next door, but Naruto couldn't bear to move.

He said, "This house holds too many memories." Kushina's eyes reddened at his words, and Minato patted his wife's shoulder.

In the end, they decorated the little house for the newlyweds.

Kushina replaced the furniture, the curtains, and the bedding with new ones.

The outfit fitting took place in Naruto's living room.

Kushina moved the mirror into the center of the living room. Sunlight streamed through the window, lighting up the entire house.

Naruto stood before the mirror in a black kimono, a white silk flower pinned to his chest and his hair combed sleek and shiny.

Minato straightened his collar, stepped back to look him over, and nodded.

"Not bad."

Kushina circled her son, tugged at his sleeves, adjusted his sash, and nodded in satisfaction.

"Handsome! My son really is handsome!"

Embarrassed by the praise, Naruto scratched his head. A tuft of his freshly combed hair sprang up again, and Kushina slapped it back down.

Genya, Sasuke, Sakura, Shikamaru, Temari, Ino, Kiba, Choji, Tenten, Rock Lee, and Neji.

Everyone who could come had come.
