Yu Xiuyuan had indeed been put in his place by Yun Chuan.
Yun Chuan had already been holding back for days. Then, on the livestream, he saw Yu Xiuyuan say, "He's back," his eyes sparkling, before ending the stream without a second thought. Yun Chuan lost control and went a little too far.
When Yu Xiuyuan opened his eyes again, the first thing he saw was a vast sky glowing with morning light.

Only then did he realize that Yun Chuan was holding him. Wrapped in a quilt, they were lying side by side on the double lounger in the backyard.
Yun Chuan lay on his side beside him, his head propped on one hand. His gaze rested on Yu Xiuyuan's face as he watched him at leisure, his eyes full of barely concealed amusement.
Yu Xiuyuan felt himself up and down beneath the quilt. Only after finding his pajamas properly in place did he let out a huge sigh of relief.
Beside him, Yun Chuan spoke through a suppressed laugh. "What's wrong, baby? Why are you trembling?"
Yu Xiuyuan glared at him. "You scared me."
Yun Chuan leaned over, his lips brushing the rim of Yu Xiuyuan's ear as he lowered his voice:
"What, afraid I'd take you out here?"
Yu Xiuyuan's ears burned. He turned his head away and ignored him.
Yun Chuan chuckled and followed him, pressing a kiss to the corner of his mouth. His voice softened coaxingly:
"Don't be scared, baby. I won't mess around outside."
"I only carried you out here because I wanted to watch the sunrise with you."
Yu Xiuyuan pushed him away suspiciously. "Why aren't you rushing off today? And why the sudden urge to watch the sunrise?"
