He just felt it had come out of nowhere.
Besides, during their previous interactions, she had seemed to be having relationship problems and had been very down. Yu Nian was worried that something else had happened to her.

Yu Nian offered her a few words of comfort online, checked how far away she was, and arranged a time to visit.

She seemed sensitive to the cold, dressed in long sleeves and trousers. She also looked much thinner than last time, her face somewhat haggard.
