The sun was already high outside when Yu Nian woke a little later than usual.
Nestled in Qin Yuheng's arms, he caught his lover's scent through the haze of sleep. Feeling blissfully content, he nuzzled lazily against his chest.
"Awake?" Qin Yuheng looked down at the man in his arms, his voice low and rich.
The adorable little gesture made him lean down and kiss Yu Nian's forehead.
Without opening his eyes, Yu Nian mumbled a couple of answers and hugged him tighter. "Honey, go to work a little later. Sleep with me a while longer..."
Qin Yuheng rolled over and settled him on top of himself, patting his back as if soothing a child. "Did you forget? I haven't been going to the office lately."
Yu Nian lay curled against him like a kitten, reluctant to leave his embrace. "Why?"
Qin Yuheng answered patiently, "We got married, and we're going on our honeymoon, so I took time off work."
Still sleepy, Yu Nian lifted his head from Qin Yuheng's chest and cracked his eyes open to look at him. "Oh."
His response was so subdued that Qin Yuheng couldn't tell whether he had really forgotten or was deliberately teasing him.
The next moment, however, Yu Nian leaned down to kiss him, lightly licking his lips before breaking into a goofy smile. "Hehe. We're married."
Unable to resist that kind of teasing, Qin Yuheng cupped the back of his head and took control, pressing him down onto the bed for another round of kisses.
Yu Nian's eyes were moist and gleaming. Now that they were open, he looked fully awake-and a little drunk.
He braced a hand against Qin Yuheng's chest and said between soft pants, "I'm awake. Shall we get up?"
