"Hmm?" Yu Nian blinked, not quite grasping what he meant.
"The group's departments are holding their annual parties, and we'll be buying a batch of fruit for them. Would you like to come with me for an on-site inspection?"
Yu Nian's eyes lit up, but his breath caught, as though he could hardly believe it. "You mean you're considering buying these green jujubes as gifts for the annual parties?"
"Yes. If everything checks out, people from administration and finance will come over to coordinate with them."
"Okay! Brother Yu, you're the best!" Yu Nian was so thrilled he hardly knew what to do. He couldn't wait to tell Bian Yan the news.
But he soon realized there was another issue. "But there are so many green jujubes. Wouldn't traveling all that way to inspect them and arrange transportation cost you a lot, too? If you're only doing this to help me, Brother Yu, I can't let you lose money."
"Don't feel burdened. We need gifts for the annual parties every year, and they always spend ages discussing what to buy. If we can purchase directly from your classmate, we can keep costs well under control. You'd be helping me, too."
Deep down, Yu Nian preferred to believe this really was a win-win outcome. Besides, Qin Yuheng was a businessman; he wouldn't make a loss on a deal like this just because they were close.
Still, there was no denying that Qin Yuheng had plenty of options, yet had chosen to consider buying the green jujubes because of him. It was an enormous favor.
"Thank you so much, Brother Yu. I'll talk to Bian Yan about the timing right away so we can head over as soon as possible."
"So you won't be coming over again anytime soon?" Qin Yuheng abruptly
