Taking a day off, and a few thoughts.
Sorry (:з"∠)
I'm only asking for leave this late today.
That old problem of getting stuck on transition chapters has struck again.
I spent the whole evening forcing it out, writing and revising more than half of it, but it still didn't feel right.
If I kept forcing it, I'd have to stay up late again, and my schedule would turn nocturnal all over again, so I'm shamelessly asking for a day off.
Give me a day to polish it up.
Updates will definitely resume tomorrow.
Thank you all for continuing to support such a willful old slacker like me.
Honestly, this book has gotten too long—longer than I'm capable of controlling.
Writing is actually a very interesting thing, but it's like playing games. Playing games for a day is great, but playing them for an entire year, having to play for eight hours every day, 365 days without rest, even thinking about builds and strategies in your sleep... that's practically prison.

This attempt, where I overestimated myself, made me fully realize that I simply can't handle a two-million-word epic.
More than a year of continuous serialization has nearly worn away all my inspiration and passion for writing. Staying up late, insomnia, and a chaotic schedule have also persisted through almost the entire latter half of the serialization.
I've only managed to keep going until now because of everyone's support.
Thank you, truly.
If not for your companionship, I probably would've lost heart long ago, left this book unfinished, and switched careers.
(These past two days, my family has been urging me to switch careers again. They mean well. After all, my family's financial situation is decent, and we
