I was a little stuck again.
But don't worry, this really will be the last time I take a break.
Rum had been captured, everyone had turned traitor, and there was no way Renya Karasuma could turn things around, so I only planned to gloss over it.
All that remained to be written were the endings of the main characters.

So let me take one last day off and try to write the ending a little better.
To be honest, this book had far exceeded my control.
It never should have been this long.
Back when ideas were pouring out of me, I was full of confidence and thought writing millions of words would be no problem, so I set the story's pace very slowly.
But by the middle and later stages, I quickly suffered the consequences. The daily scenes became awkward, the cases grew cliché, and although I wanted to finish the book sooner, I was constrained by the overly slow pace I had set before. So for nearly every day of the past half year, I had been caught between creative burnout and the pressure of serialization.
Insomnia, headaches, a disrupted schedule, conflicts with my family's opinions. Real-life troubles came one after another as well.
