Yu Qingchuan's days were happy and fulfilling, and something that made him even happier was that the renovations on his and Lu Shiyi's villa were finished. Since they had used environmentally friendly materials throughout, they could move in after airing it out for two months at most.
That would be just in time for their wedding.
Yu Qingchuan could hardly wait to drag Lu Shiyi over to see their new home.
The villa had four floors in total. The first floor housed the living room, kitchen, guest room, and gym; the second was their living quarters, and the third was Yu Qingchuan's studio. There was also a basement that had been turned into a recreation area, complete with a full VR gaming setup and a small home theater.
Yu Qingchuan toured each floor in turn. He especially loved the third-floor studio, which Lu Shiyi had given a wonderfully artistic atmosphere. Spaces of various sizes had been reserved on the walls for Yu Qingchuan's paintings, and his easels, brushes, paints, canvases, and other supplies all had their own cabinets, neatly arranged and fully stocked.
This was truly every art student's dream!
The corners of Yu Qingchuan's mouth stayed turned up as he looked this way and that. He loved it so much that he wished he could move in that very day.
But a lingering smell still hung in the air, so Yu Qingchuan could only take a few more looks and wait until it had cleared completely.
He reached for Lu Shiyi's hand. "Brother Yi, I love our new home!"
He felt he could create even more and better paintings here.
Lu Shiyi's eyes were full of affection. "As long as you like it."
