Meanwhile, he had finished enhancing all seven Star Seeds of his Summoning System and gained another summoning contract slot.

Di Qiu'er's Light-Fire Element now had five enhanced Star Seeds. This time, Su Miu had held nothing back, using every Essence Remnant that dropped and every one he synthesized to enhance her Star Seeds.

Their task was to reach the destination and find a bracelet that Chief Instructor Zhan Kong had lost. If they completed the task, everyone would pass. If they failed, everyone would fail.

A familiar mocking voice rang out. They turned toward it and saw Zhao Kunsan, who still remembered how Su Miu had thoroughly humiliated him at the beginning of the school year.

Now, he could already cast Basic Level One magic, yet Su Miu still did not have a summoned beast. How could he pass up the chance to mock him?

"You and that filthy mouth again! Believe me, one Fire Burst and I'll burn your ass off!"

Mo Fan could not stand it. He was about to act as he spoke, but Su Miu moved faster.

The next second, Zhao Kunsan's vision blurred, and the world spun around him. Then his back slammed into something as though he had hit a wall, and pain swept through his entire body. When his vision cleared,

he saw Su Miu holding a fruit knife above his face with an indifferent expression. In that brief instant, Zhao Kunsan had been knocked flat. It had happened so fast that no one had time to react.

While his mind was still reeling, the fruit knife dropped straight toward his face.

"N-no!"

Zhao Kunsan cried out in terror. Everyone around him fell deathly silent, not even daring to breathe.

The next second, the fruit knife plunged into the ground beside Zhao Kunsan's cheek, barely two centimeters from his ear.

"I may not have a summoned beast, but beating ten thousand of you wouldn't take much effort. Let's go."

Su Miu kicked the fruit knife into the air, caught it, and hung it on his backpack. Then he motioned for Mo Fan to follow.

"Oh, okay."

Mo Fan looked at Su Miu in startled disbelief. He had never expected him to act so decisively and ruthlessly. That was just too cool.

Zhao Kunsan had actually wet himself in fright. From that moment on, Su Miu would probably become the person he feared most deep down.

Rain began falling just before they reached their destination. Mo Fan used his fire element magic energy to evaporate the rain, while Zhang Xiaohou used Wind Track to blow it away. Su Miu calmly pulled out an umbrella.

"Su, you even brought an umbrella?"

"Isn't bringing an umbrella on a long trip normal? In case it rains?"

"I guess it is..."

The three continued toward their destination through the rain. The classmates following behind them were not so fortunate.

In the end, they were the first three to arrive. The other teams would probably need another few hours.

"I'll go down and take a look first."

With that, Su Miu jumped down without making any preparations. Mo Fan and Zhang Xiaohou's expressions changed drastically.

"Su! The rope! You didn't bring a rope!"

Seeing him move faster and faster, the two called out a warning. But the next second, Su Miu suddenly pulled out a bottle of alcohol and shouted:

"Mo Fan, there's something here! Fire Burst!"

Mo Fan froze at his shout, then immediately began charging Fire Burst. Zhang Xiaohou looked in the direction of the firelight and spotted a massive silhouette.

"There really is a demon beast!"

He was startled. He had not expected there to actually be a demon beast inside. Su Miu hurled the bottle of alcohol while the Ghost Wolf Beast stared at them.

The glass bottle shattered, filling the air with the pungent smell of alcohol. The Ghost Wolf Beast shook its head in discomfort, as though trying to shake the alcohol off.

"Fire Burst: Bone Incineration!"

Mo Fan still could not see the monster clearly, but its shaking head gave him a rough outline. He immediately hurled Fire Burst toward it.

Fire Burst struck the Ghost Wolf Beast, setting it ablaze. A pained howl rang out, and they finally got a clear look at the enormous creature.

"What a huge wolf!"

Mo Fan and Zhang Xiaohou exclaimed in unison as the Ghost Wolf Beast sprinted toward the cave entrance.

Wind boots appeared on Su Miu's feet, and he pursued it along a Wind Track. These were his Demon Traction Tool. Zhang Xiaohou paused in surprise, then took Mo Fan with him and followed along his own Wind Track.

"That's strange. How can Su use Wind Track?"

Mo Fan stared at the Wind Track beneath Su Miu's feet in confusion. Zhang Xiaohou had not seen Su Miu form a Star Orbit. He looked down at Su Miu's feet, noticed the Demon Traction Tool, and immediately explained:

"Brother Fan, it's a Demon Traction Tool! Brother Su's wearing one!"

"A Demon Traction Tool?! Those things are really expensive, aren't they... Is Su that rich?"

Mo Fan was surprised by this. He had never expected Su Miu to have so much money. After all, a Demon Traction Tool cost at least three hundred thousand.

Meanwhile, outside the cave, several classmates climbed down the ropes. They had barely reached the bottom when they heard a wolf howl.

Everyone turned toward the sound and saw a blazing Ghost Wolf Beast charge out of the cave. Terrified out of their wits, they immediately tried to flee back the way they had come.

Cries rang out as they desperately fought over the ropes, trying to climb back up.

The Ghost Wolf Beast jumped into the pool with a splash. Su Miu emerged from the cave at the same time. He set down his backpack, opened it, and took out his tools-a pipe and a fruit knife-before bracing for battle.

Mo Fan and Zhang Xiaohou rushed out of the cave just as the Ghost Wolf Beast climbed out of the small pool, fixing its bloodshot eyes on the three of them.

"Get ready for a team fight. Follow my lead. Mo Fan, prepare Fire Burst. Monkey, keep Wind Track ready."

With a pipe in one hand and a knife in the other, Su Miu charged forward, calling out instructions to the pair. With their lives on the line, they could only follow his lead.

Seeing the human charge, the Ghost Wolf Beast lunged at him. Su Miu activated his wind boots, and the Wind Track beneath his feet instantly sent his speed soaring. He narrowly dodged the beast's pounce and drove the fruit knife precisely into its eye.

Blood sprayed. Su Miu immediately pulled back, watching the Ghost Wolf Beast howl wildly in pain and staying alert for its next move.

The next second, the Ghost Wolf Beast raised its head and opened its jaws, unleashing its innate skill, Flying Sand and Stones, at Su Miu.

He immediately leaped sideways to dodge. As the Ghost Wolf Beast attacked again, Su Miu shouted.

"Mo Fan! Fire Burst!"

At the same time, he raised his hand. The Defensive Magic Equipment on his arm instantly activated, flashing with light and knocking the Ghost Wolf Beast back.

"Fire Burst: Bone Incineration!"

Mo Fan seized the opening while the Ghost Wolf Beast reeled from the impact and hurled Fire Burst straight at it. The spell struck precisely, engulfing the beast in flames once more as its agonized howls echoed through the valley.
