After exchanging greetings, everyone was acquainted. Then came the last three arrivals.
Mo Fan, Xu Zhaoting, and Zhao Manyan. Feng Li had far less patience for these three and immediately began scolding them.
"You three substitutes actually dared to arrive late? Have you no sense of punctuality?"
"Oh, come on, the traffic was awful. Su really should've given us a lift."
As shameless as ever, Mo Fan brushed off the instructor's reprimand, then hurried over to his powerful backer, Su Miu, for protection.
Xu Zhaoting and Zhao Manyan were quick on the uptake, too. Their good friend was a major general-with him around, surely they wouldn't get chewed out. They immediately crowded around Su Miu.
Feng Li choked on his words. Looking at the five of them, who were clearly a united group, he didn't know what to say. Su Miu stepped in to smooth things over.
"Since everyone's here, let's set off."
"Ahem. Yes, let's set off."
Feng Li accepted the offered way out. Everyone boarded the plane and headed for their destination. On the plane, Mu Ningxue and a blonde woman sat beside Su Miu. The blonde had a beauty mark beside her lips and an alluring air about her.
"What an adorable child! Is she your contract beast? She even has little horns and a tail. Can I pet her?"
Jiang Shaoxu stared at the little girl sitting in Su Miu's lap, her eyes shining. She asked for permission, but her hands had already reached out to pet her.
"She's so soft, just like an ordinary child! Why is your contract beast humanoid, anyway?"
As she stroked Jia Lin's little head, Jiang Shaoxu clearly couldn't bear to stop. Mu Tingying and Nan Rongni nearby obviously wanted a turn as well. Everyone was curious why his contract beast
