Origin and Nature

Jiang Dongjun’s Yin Spirit existed before his Martial Soul awakening. His spirit could leave his flesh, roam independently, and dissolve into crystalline thoughts. The talent caused no physical complications in itself, although the exposed soul remained vulnerable. His parents supported its development with resources, protective measures, and research into Shrek Academy’s records 1 4.

During awakening, a separate Yin Spirit Martial Soul formed through the combination of the Light of Time and Space, his innate Yin Spirit Excursion, and the Awakening Stones’ Douluo Plane rules. Jiang Dongjun identified it as an unconventional artificial martial soul rather than an ordinary inherited one 5.
