Yu Lin Bloodhawk swung into the saddle. The Clefthoof Zebra he had just selected was a gelding, fully equipped with a saddle and tack. It was powerfully built, with hard, bulging muscles beneath its tigerlike stripes of black and brown. He lightly squeezed its flanks with his legs, and the zebra shot forward like an arrow, making two steady, nimble circuits of the paddock. The wind swept past his ears, carrying the scent of grass and earth. Suddenly, he felt that there was something truly wonderful about keeping his feet on the ground.

After riding for a while, Yu Lin Bloodhawk reined in his mount, walked it back to the edge of the paddock, and dismounted. "Mm! Much steadier than riding a Hawkstrider. Want to take a ride too, lass?"

"No!" Sylvanas shook her head. "I have Lupos. He's steady when he runs too, more agile than a horse, and much quieter. I think he's better suited as a Ranger's mount."

"You can't quite put it that way, lass. They each have their strengths! There are at least some areas where horses really are better than Worgs." Yu Lin Bloodhawk shook his head. "Horses are steady and taller than Worgs, which is a great advantage for Rangers shooting from the saddle. More importantly, once their hooves are shod, they hold up far better on long-distance raids than the pads on a Worg's paws."

"Forget it! If you don't want one, you don't want one!" Yu Lin Bloodhawk waved a hand. "At least Quel'Danil's army is starting to have its own ground mounts. But lass, don't you think it's a waste for your Frostwolf Clan Regiment to use Soul Link on their mounts? Wouldn't it be better to have a dedicated mount and let the battle pet focus on supporting you
