"When did this happen?" Alleria asked.
"Within the first few days after I met him," Sylvanas said. "Luckily, I saved him. Otherwise, we wouldn't have the Battle Pet Ranger Unit we have today. Back then, his First Squad was full of green recruits who didn't know a thing. Look at Bloodhawk's First Squad now. Is there any trace of what they used to be? Does anyone still think they're a bunch of noobs?"
"Noobs?" It was Alleria's first time hearing the term, and she sounded puzzled and dismissive.
"That's what their regiment calls new recruits. It means they're useless, easy pickings for the enemy," Sylvanas said with a smile. "The opposite is a veteran, and a step above that is an elite. There are several kinds of elites, too. According to his current terminology, they're small-dungeon elites now, a second-tier elite unit."
"What are small-dungeon elites?" Alleria asked.
"Their own classification system. The lowest elite rank is wild-monster elite, followed by small-dungeon, medium-dungeon, and large-dungeon elites," Sylvanas said, amused.
"Which tier does your Frostwolf Clan force belong to by their standards?" Alleria asked curiously.
"Probably medium-dungeon..." Sylvanas said sheepishly. In truth, she had already lowered Yu Lin Bloodhawk's assessment of them considerably.
"I don't see how your Frostwolf Clan Regiment is stronger than their old Bloodhawk unit! In a head-on fight, the Frostwolf Clan Regiment would be more likely to lose. They have a full range of troops: Steel Torrent, Bear Iron Fist, and Nightstalker, all capable of advancing. You simply couldn't stop them."
Alleria continued, "Look at our Bear Iron Fist and Mountain Lion Nightstalkers now. The people from the Bloodhawk Regiment have trained them quite well! How are they any worse than your Frostwolf Clan Regiment?"
"How would I know how his bizarre classification system works?" Sylvanas said.
