The elves' plan was simple. The 200 Gryphon Riders would split into two waves. The first wave of fifty would carry small Explosive Bombs and Aerial Bombs. The small Explosive Bombs would mainly target the pirate sailors on the ships' upper decks, while the Aerial Bombs would be used against pirates massed onshore and to prevent them from reinforcing the gunships.
The second wave of 150 Gryphon Riders would carry only bows and arrows and wear no armor, but each rider would suspend a Shield Warrior or Musketeer in full plate armor beneath them on a rope. Every fifty gryphons would be responsible for one ship.
After the first wave of Gryphon Riders finished bombing with their small Explosive Bombs, the second wave would drop twenty Shield Warriors and thirty Musketeers onto each ship. They would seize the gunships' upper decks, then fight their way downward until they captured the vessels.
Once the first wave of Gryphon Riders finished bombing, they would attack the Bloodsail Buccaneers massed onshore and intercept any pirates returning to the gunships in small boats. The second wave would fly straight back to the human soldiers' assembly point onshore to transport another 150 Shield Warriors or Musketeers aboard.
The trolls and Elf Rangers needed to reach the vicinity of the pirates' shore camp before the Gryphon Riders launched their attack. Once the riders struck, the snow leopard and dire wolf squadron would immediately kill the Bloodsail Buccaneers' sentries, allowing the Troll Warriors and Elf Archers to move into strong attack positions.
Once they reached favorable positions, the Elf Rangers would fire arrows into the pirates first. If the pirates charged the rangers, the Troll Soldiers would immediately attack them. The remaining human sailors, wearing only leather armor or cloth uniforms, could only stay beside the elves
