Did skeletons have hearts too? Surely those rack-of-ribs Skeleton Warriors couldn't have hearts! Yu Lin Bloodhawk wondered, but his arrow was already aimed at the last Death Warrior blocking the Death Knight, Arcane light gathering around its shaft once more.
He intended to take down this Death Warrior the same way. Otherwise, he could not hit the Death Knight and stop him from summoning a demon. That Death Warrior had been a Shield Warrior in life, and the enormous shield he carried completely covered the Death Knight from the front.
Although Yu Lin Bloodhawk thought using two Arcane Shots to kill two ordinary Death Warriors was an obvious waste, he had no better option right now.
Yu Lin Bloodhawk's Arcane Shot struck the lower corner of the Death Spirit Warrior's shield. The tremendous Arcane Explosion and its force pitched the undead warrior forward, exposing his head above the shield. Yu Lin Bloodhawk swiftly nocked another arrow and shot him again.
Just like the previous Death Soldier, the arrow pierced his skull, its Fine Steel Arrowhead bursting out the back of the Death Shield Soldier's head with sticky brain matter and bloody strands clinging to it.
The death shield warrior let out a strange, hoarse scream and fell face-first to the ground, leaving the Death Knight behind him completely exposed.
But the two Death Warriors had bought enough time for the Death Knight to finish his demon-summoning spell. The two Death Soldiers had died too quickly for him to summon a more powerful demon.
